Andrew Eil is a policy, finance and risk specialist focusing on climate change-related issues with broad experience in international affairs across the public and private sectors. He leads a consulting practice on climate-themed investing and climate risk and is an active early-stage climate tech venture investor and adviser to startups, with a focus on climate risk and resilience. From early 2022 to late 2024, Eil was head of climate risk for North America with Tata Consultancy Services, before which he was a managing partner with Climate Finance Advisors (CFA), a boutique advisory firm, from 2018 until its acquisition at the end of 2021. His clients at CFA and while an independent consultant included the United Nations Development Programme, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Green Climate Fund and Bloomberg L.P. Previously, Eil has worked in development finance, diplomacy and international development, including at the U.S. State Department and World Bank Group, and has lived in Russia, Kazakhstan, China and France. He has an MPA in development economics from the School of Public and International Affairs.
