Stone Balancing: A Metaphor for Life. Embracing Impermanent Sculpture With Joy

October 11, 2025 @ 4:15 pm - 5:30 pm

  • 106 Fitzrandolph Road

About Session

This workshop incorporates meditative breathing, hands-on stone balance sculpting, and the exploration of random feats versus intentional design. Participants will engage in coping skills for handling both success and failure, celebrating the growth that comes from both experiences. Photography and a supportive attitude are encouraged throughout. Some sculpting may require teamwork, allowing participants to collaborate creatively. Stones and photographs will be provided, if you prefer to use your own stones, you are welcome to bring up to seven favorites, no larger than a baseball, for safety purposes.
