Charles Goldstein spent most of his career in the health care industry with Becton Dickinson until his retirement after 27 years, in 2016, as a senior vice president. His leadership resulted in many highly successful commercialized medical devices and diagnostic products. He has championed innovation sources that include startup incubators in the United States and Singapore. Currently, Goldstein is a strategic adviser to large and medium-size companies seeking to enter or expand in the health care business. He is a board member for innovative startups and a seed-stage angel investor and founder, focusing on breast and brain cancer treatment and sports tech startups. Goldstein has a Ph.D. and M.A. from Princeton and an M.S.E. from Johns Hopkins University. He is on the board of NC BIO, the North Carolina affiliate of BIO, the national biotechnology industry organization. He is on advisory committees for the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton, the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins and the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Hopkins.
