Head of Infrastructure Architecture, Millennium
As head of infrastructure architecture at Millennium, Yun Zhang drives the firm’s AI platform strategy and execution. Her focus is on building resilient, scalable and secure infrastructure to enable advanced AI applications and development tooling across the enterprise. In addition to AI, she also oversees high-performance computing, a large-scale Kubernetes platform and developer toolchains. Previously, Zhang was managing director at Goldman Sachs, serving as chief technology officer and head of engineering for Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions. She led cross-functional teams to build digital platforms for trading, custody, private investments and banking services while advancing the use of AI and automation across the business. Earlier in her career at Google, she led teams developing natural language processing algorithms, machine learning infrastructure and search-ranking optimizations. She began her career in building an algorithmic trading platform at Goldman Sachs. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Princeton.
