About Session
This session offers an inspiring look at the journey from academic research to entrepreneurship through the lens of PumpKin. This venture grew from graduate scholarship and evolved into a dynamic, mission-driven enterprise to support mothers who are breastfeeding their newborns. The story of PumpKin illustrates how deep academic inquiry, when paired with creativity, persistence and a willingness to take risks, can lead to innovative solutions and meaningful impact beyond the university.
